How it works

Your team edits. Your site updates. Automatically.

1

Your team edits content

Pages, data records, media, directories with map addresses, and forms — managed through a simple editing interface. No code required.

2

Your site loads it live

Your website fetches content through a secure API connection. Visitors always see the latest version — updates appear without redeploying your site.

3

Data flows both ways

Forms capture visitor submissions back to Popcorn CMS. From there, data syncs to Mailchimp, your CRM, or any tool via integrations.

Manage your content from the AI tools you already use

Popcorn CMS exposes your site over the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — the open standard AI assistants use to connect to external tools. That means you can read and update your content through natural language conversations in MCP-compatible tools like Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT, without ever opening the dashboard.

  • Point your AI tool at your site's MCP manifest at /.well-known/mcp.json so it can auto-discover the tools available for your content.
  • Authenticate with a scoped API key for read access, or an editor session token when you want the AI to make changes.
  • Then just ask in plain English — "Add a pricing page," "Move testimonials above the contact form," or "Create a booking form" — and the AI runs it against your site.
  • Every action is permission-checked and audit-logged, so your content stays under your control.
